Affiliate Disclosure

FTC disclosure (16 CFR Part 255): CardPath is an independent publisher. When you click certain links on this site and apply for a credit product, the issuer or its affiliate network may pay us a commission — at no cost to you.

What that means in practice

  • Links from "Apply Now" buttons on our apply guides go through a redirect (/go/…) that may be monetized.
  • Some issuer links on comparison pages may be affiliate links; others are not.
  • Advertising (Google Ad Manager) is separate from affiliate commissions.

How we review cards

Our quiz and comparisons are built on publicly available issuer criteria — deposit requirements, fees, reporting behavior, graduation policies — with last-verified dates on each page. Commissions vary by issuer and do not determine quiz matches or rankings. Where a product has a serious drawback (annual fees, for example), we print it on the same screen as the recommendation.

Impartiality commitment

If our matching logic ever recommends a card because it pays more — rather than fits better — this disclosure page is where we'd be obligated to tell you, and we'd consider the product broken. Editorial policy details: Editorial Policy.
